Hispanic Heritage Month Miami 2016
Every year National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed and celebrated by Americans across the nation. The celebration began in 1968, under President Lyndon B. Johnson, and was made a month long celebration in 1988 by the U.S. Congress.
Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the country at the same time Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Belize celebrate their independence.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15), Facebook and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) are teaming up to host a series of “Boost Your Business” events across America. These free, educational events will celebrate the unique contributions of Hispanic and Latino owned businesses around the country and empower attendees to take their businesses to the next level with Facebook and Instagram.
The event is free, but requires registration in advance as space is limited. Attendees will also receive a $25 Facebook ad coupon at the end of the event.
